• Description on the individual ideation of link

This is one of the sub link from our homepage - "Shopping&Nightlife". In this link , we will let others know where Asian Heritage Row is located at. It is strategically located in the heart of the city and is growing in popularity as a preferred destination for the young and trendy. Besides that , this link will also introduce those lounges, bars and clubs that are located in Asian Heritage Row.

• Objective of the link

The link is create to let the visitor can clearly know that which information they want to get from the website with using the sub link. so I create the link in directly view to convenient those who hope to get relevent information with Asian Heritage Row effectively.

• Design of GUI

I will make it more simple and direct in my page. We choose dark red as the background color in this stage and following by putting some attractive photos of Asian Heritage Row. It is the first time i design for GUI , I will make it more simple and direct in my page.

Hello , I’m huying. This is the work in progress report week 8 for Jalan Sultan Ismail Nighlife.

Description on the individual ideation of link

The Jalan Sultan Ismail Nighlfe link will introduce four things. first is where is Jalan Sultan Ismail, how to go there ,by bus ,taxi, train and so on. Second is why people will go to this place, we will introduce it clubs , bars ,and happy life in this place. Third is what the promotion in the bars and clubs. Fourth is best seasons and time to go to Jalan Sultan Ismail. Visitors can know detail how to go to Jalan Sultan Ismail even he is first go to Malaysia. We will put many pictures and music. With the music and pictures, let visitors feel has been go to the Jalan Sultan Ismail have their happy life.

Objective of the link

The "Attraction" link is the one of the subtopic for the mid Valley city, In individual link, Visitors would just have to click on the button to see more details . I will design a simple background and show much colour picture to attract visitors .
Besides that, I will put some information (Tips) to let visitors can enjoy their travel. is includes

Work in progress - KLCC Shopping Area

Hi, my name is Lim Yuen Ling, ID:1081108632, below is my work in progress report for week 8.

• Description on the individual ideation of link

This is one of the sub link from our homepage - "Shopping&Nightlife". So in this link, i will briefly introduce the Suria KLCC shopping area. So as to make the visitors of this link feel free and easy to access all the information, i will try to simplify this link by minimize the usage of buttons and try to use more images to express the words. Also, i will try to let the visitors to vote "like" or "dislike" for every introduction that i had in this link, so that i can know whether it is good or bad and able to make it in a better way. I will also apply some buttons in, for example the back buttons which allows the visitors to go back our homepage once they click on it.Since there is not much shopping malls in this area comparing with bukit bintang, i will emphasis more in the facilities of Suria KLCC in my link.

• Objective of the link

This link allow all the visitors to have an easy access to the info of Suria KLCC. All the latest details are available here, for example what kind of shops they got in KLCC, what is the location of KLCC, how to get there and so on.

• Design of GUI

This is the first time i design for GUI, try my best to make it, might edit it afterward. So, as a sub link, we have to use the same color for our background， and we choose dark red as the background color in this stage. I will first put some attractive images at the top and then follow by the button below the images and lastly all the description of Suria KLCC at the bottom. This is the sketch of my design of GUI for my link.

Work in progress - Bukit Bintang Shopping Area

Hi everyone, i am Thor Yu Kai, ID: 1081108633 and below is my work in progress report for week 8.

• Description on the individual ideation of link

So this is a sub link of our homepage "Shopping&Nightlife". The main concept of creating this link is to make it simple and clear to understand, so that who ever browse this link will find it easy and comfort to access all the information. Thus, simple and straightforward buttons and description will be used in this link. there will be short and clear sentences used to describe all the shopping malls. in order to satisfy the sense of sight of our visitors, we will also shows some attractive pictures beside the introduction of shopping malls. Since there are too many shopping malls surrounded this area, i will only cover those famous shopping malls in this link. to let our visitors get more participate in this link, i will try to let them have the right to vote for every shopping malls in this link, and based on that, there will be a rating for all the shopping malls.

• Objective of the link

Objective of this link is to provide our visitors a clear and easy understanding information of the shopping malls which located in Bukit Bintang Area. through this link, you are able to gain the info of the shopping mall such as location, rates, transport and so on.

Work in Progress- Jalan Ampang Nightlife

Dear everyone, I'm Wong Lit Ping and this is the work in progress report week 8 for Jalan Ampang Nightlife.

• Description on the individual ideation of link

The "Jalan Ampang" link is a sub link of our "Shopping&Nightlife" homepage. Basically, the idea for Jalan Ampang would be just simple way of easy navigations and straightforward menus and buttons. There would be some nightclubs and bar's pictures and some categories label at the pictures. Visitors would just have to click on the button of the pictures to see more choices in that categories of nightclubs or bar. Brief introduction will be provided in each nightclubs and bars. Visitors are able to check on their preferred nightclubs or bar through this link. Some other information can be found on this link as well, like place to stay, transportation, map, contact information and so on. Other than that, visitors are able to go back to the previous page by clicking the back button and visit to other sub link from the homepage.

• Objective of the link

The objective of the link is to provide convenient access description and any relevant details about the Nightclubs and Bar for Nightlife in Jalan Ampang. There will be some pictures in the link to attract the visitors.

• Design of GUI

The design of GUI will emphasize the uses of pictures and label to navigate the website. The interface design is going to be simple and direct. I will create and design the buttons using illustrator or get some idea from the net. The background would be dark red, however, in order to uniform, further adjustment is unavoidable when everyone of us have done all their link. I have done some research about the nightclubs and bar in Jalan Ampang, and some of the pictures and review is going to include in the link. The following is the sketch of my design for the link and interface of Jalan Ampang Nightlife.

Work in Progress- Milestones & Group Meeting

Milestones

So far we had few meetings after the tutorial class. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of jobs to be done, because our tutorial class is not up to the schedule, we just started to learn some very basic of Dreamweaver in last week tutorial class. This cause all of us lack of idea how to design the GUI, and thus, we are behind the schedule. We're trying to refer to other friends and trying out best to learn it. Meanwhile, the information for the contents are ready. The members will post their work (description on individual ideation of the link, GUI & flowchart) later on.

Group Meeting

We had 3 meetings after the tutorial class, and we were using email and cell phone to contact each others. During the meeting, we discussed bout the task delegation, idea for the target place and target audience, ideas for the design (theme, picture, links, etc) and the information for the contents.

Target Audience

Nightlife in Kuala Lumpur is such a colorful and attractive affair. Hundreds of clubs, bars and pubs scattered all over Kuala Lumpur when it come to night, with the music, drinks and dances, Kuala Lumpur will definitely become the preferable place for those youngsters who enjoy night life.

Kuala Lumpur is exactly a prefer place for avid shoppers. Except the famous twins tower, Kuala Lumpur is surrounded by lots of other shopping mall, The Garden, Starhill, Low Yat Plaza, Berjaya Time Square, Pavilion and etc, are selling a broad portfolio of products, from the noble one till the ordinary things, is believed to be fulfill the desire of those shoppers.

Jalan Ampang is one of the main road in the KLCC area. We can focus on the well-known nightclub in this area such as Zouk & Velvet Underground, Quattro, and so on. Bukit Bintang is known as the ultimate shopping area in the city, the shopping centres over here are able to suit every budget or need, from premium to speciality outlets. Eg. Pavilion, Sungai Wang & BB Plaza, Starhill Gallery, Low Yat Plaza, Berjaya Time Square, and Lot 10.

KLCC is located at the foot of Petronas Twin Towers, it offering 6 floors of retail therapy under one roof. Many ways of public transport are available to the customers such as the LRT station connected directly to the mall. Hu Ying & Jia Yu- Nightlife & Shopping Area (Jalan Sultan Ismail Nightlife, Mid Valley City)

Jalan Sultan Ismail was once the main nightlife district of Kuala Lumpur. However, it is still reliable when it comes to nightlife. One of the famous rooftop bar, Luna Bar can be found in Jalan Sultan Ismail, it has a unique layout with a pool in the middle and has one of the best night views in town.
