Work in progress - Bukit Bintang Shopping Area

Hi everyone, i am Thor Yu Kai, ID: 1081108633 and below is my work in progress report for week 8.

• Description on the individual ideation of link

So this is a sub link of our homepage "Shopping&Nightlife". The main concept of creating this link is to make it simple and clear to understand, so that who ever browse this link will find it easy and comfort to access all the information. Thus, simple and straightforward buttons and description will be used in this link. there will be short and clear sentences used to describe all the shopping malls. in order to satisfy the sense of sight of our visitors, we will also shows some attractive pictures beside the introduction of shopping malls. Since there are too many shopping malls surrounded this area, i will only cover those famous shopping malls in this link. to let our visitors get more participate in this link, i will try to let them have the right to vote for every shopping malls in this link, and based on that, there will be a rating for all the shopping malls.

• Objective of the link

Objective of this link is to provide our visitors a clear and easy understanding information of the shopping malls which located in Bukit Bintang Area. through this link, you are able to gain the info of the shopping mall such as location, rates, transport and so on.

• Design of GUI

We are using dark red as our background color. i would try to put more colorful pictures of Bukit Bintang Shopping Area to make it more attractive. If available, i will also put some background music. Following is the sketch of my design of GUI, might make some adjustment afterward.

• Photoshop

Currently haven included photoshop in my progress, will use it to design the background afterward.

• Dreamweaver

Just started to learn this skill, unfortunately what i learn is not enough to perform in this stage. Will try hard to catch up the schedule, hope to learn more soon.

• Flash

It is totally no idea about flash, haven learn it yet. Lets see what can we do about it after learning it.
